1 year in the Bay
Thank you to everyone in the Aviation community who has supported us during our first year in the Hawkes Bay. We feel very privileged to be part of this group and are looking forward building on this during the coming years.
Well here we are at level 3! Well done to the team of 5 million that made it happen, we hope you are all well and continuing to stay safe in your bubble.
Moving to level 3 has enabled Primary Avionics to resume normal business including scheduled maintenance, installations and faults. We will operate slightly differently during this time to ensure we keep ourselves and others safe, but we continue to strive to deliver a service that is efficient and of the highest standard.
Please don't hesitate to give us a call if you need help with something or want to chat ADS-b, we're more than happy to help.
Ministry of Transport announces rebate for ADS-b installations
October saw the announcement of the much anticipated ADS-b OUT rebate which allows owners of NZ reg, GA aircraft to apply for a grant of up to $2500 + GST to assist with installation. With an extra $500 grant available for ADS-b IN, and the retrospective availability this is a great opportunity for operators to off-set the costs of an ADS-b solution. For more information have a look at the New Southern Skies announcement.

It's official! We are very pleased to announce that Primary Avionics Ltd has purchased the Avionics Hawkes Bay facility based at Hawkes Bay Airport. Much to our relief, Steve Lillie LAME will be staying on as his knowledge on avionics and the Hawkes Bay operators is invaluable.
